Mattel has unveiled the latest in its Creations line of games and toys designed in collaboration with artists and made for collectors.
Uno and contemporary Italian home furniture designer Kartell have partnered up for a new take on the beloved card game featuring classic Kartell pieces like the Louis Ghost chairs, Attila side tables, and Bookworm shelf. The back of the cards are white, labeled “Kartell UNO” with a ghost-like Componibili chest.
The packaging also serves as an attractive focal point. The white top of the box is minimally adorned and slides away to show two compartments that hold the deck. The side of the packaging resembles a Componibili in classic UNO colors.
Kartell has also produced a limited edition Componibili inspired by the UNO palette, sold in stores and on its website.
